1. Accounts
You need an account to buy or sell on JadeWorx. You must give accurate details, keep your credentials secure, and you are responsible for activity on your account. Accounts are for a single person or organisation and may not be shared or resold.
2. Buying and selling
Specialists list services and submit proposals; clients place orders or accept proposals. The contract for the work itself is between the client and the specialist. JadeWorx provides the platform, payment handling and dispute review.
Specialists must only list work they are able to deliver, must respect the stated delivery time and revisions, and may not solicit payment outside the platform.
3. Payments, fees and escrow
Orders are funded before work starts and held in escrow. Funds are released to the specialist when the order is completed, or automatically after the review window on a delivered order.
A service fee is added at checkout for clients, and a commission is deducted from specialist earnings. Current rates are shown on the pricing page and at checkout before you pay. Subscription plans renew automatically for the chosen billing period until cancelled.
4. Refunds and disputes
Ask for a revision first if a delivery misses the brief. If that does not resolve it, request a refund from the order page. Our team reviews evidence from both sides and settles through the original payment method. Refund decisions made by JadeWorx are final on the platform.
5. Content and ownership
Unless the order states otherwise, rights in delivered work transfer to the client once the order is completed and paid in full. You keep ownership of content you upload, and grant JadeWorx a licence to host and display it as needed to operate the marketplace.
6. Acceptable use
Do not post unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harmful content; do not attempt to bypass fees, manipulate reviews, scrape the platform, or interfere with its security. Listings and job posts may be moderated, unpublished or removed if they break these rules.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or create risk for other users. You can close your own account from account settings once open orders and balances are settled.
8. Disclaimers and changes
The platform is provided as is. JadeWorx does not guarantee any particular outcome from work bought or sold through the marketplace. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app and the updated version applies from the date it is published.
